... And we're off (sort of)


Well we have said goodbye to the Quays Marina, our home for the last five years and are now making off on our adventures. Unfortunately the weather doesn't look like it's going to play ball this week, so we may end up cruising Pittwater for the first few days. Not exactly a hardship!

I've been a bit lazy updating the blog but have been busy with getting X-Pat ready for departure. The upgrades have now been finalised and include:

Hydrovane self steering system

New bimini with 300w solar power to keep the beer cold!

Watt & Sea Hydro generator for making sure that the beer is cold

Liferaft installed on the transom
